A collection of moving images produced on 16mm film to honor Leila Post Montgomery (widow of C.W. Post of Post Cereal) who donated property and construction for Leila Hospital in Battle Creek in the 1920s. By the late 30s, she was a resident there as well, living on site until her death in 1940. The funeral of Leila Post Montgomery at Oak Hill cemetery is at the end of this video.

1940s Post Cereal Factory Tour
Former estate of cereal magnate W.K. Kellogg and his wife Dr. Carrie Staines Kellogg, the Manor House was built on the highest point overlooking Gull Lake in 1925-1926. Near Battle Creek and Kalamazoo, the Kellogg Manor House is a wonderful day trip for those interested in history and historic homes. Self-guided tours offered most weekdays.
